I am not receiving any emails via the contact form

    Hello everyone

    According to the WordPress forum ‘https://de.wordpress.org’, I should post my question/problem in a Divi forum.
    I don’t speak English, so I’ve used Google to translate my text for you.

    Here’s my question/problem:
    Website:
    When someone fills in the form and submits it, I don’t receive an email.
    Emails that aren’t sent via the website do arrive.
    System details:
    PHP 8.4
    WP 7.1
    Editor: DiviBuilder

    I’ve also installed WP Mail SMTP and tried sending it that way.
    A test email sent after installation arrived, but emails sent via the contact form still do not.


    What could be causing this?

    Hi Yves,

    I'd suggest installing an email logging plugin (e.g. this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-log/).

    Roughly, if you see the emails in the log it means that they are being sent by Divi / WP and the issue is probably with deliverability (incorrect destination email address, spam filters, SMTP setup, etc).

    But if you don't see the emails in the log it means the emails aren't reaching WP's mail system and the problem more likely to be something in the site setup (e.g. an error occurring somewhere in Divi or WP).

    Knowing which it is would help narrow down the next steps.

    I have activated the EmailLog plug-in.
