    Hi,

I have a new client who is using the DIVI Theme for her website and I am having problems. I am new to the DIVI theme and I don't want to spend hours researching this issue. I want to keep her costs down.

    1. The footer not showing up on blog posts. Does anyone have ideas or solutions for this?
    2. On some of her pages, the main dropdown menu is blank. I presume this is an active link color? but why would it work on some pages and not others?

    Her website is https://lesliesann.com/

    any help is appreciated.

    Thank you for your help.
    Mike.

This is because the footer is built in the Divi Builder on the specific page. Since it's a simple footer design, you can re-create it globally using the default option.

First, go to Appearance > Menu to add your menu to Footer Menu as well. See screenshot below:

Then, go to Theme Customizer > Footer > Bottom Bar > Edit Footer Credits to add the bottom part text.

But if you need a rather advanced global footer built with Divi Builder, you can consider this footer plugin: https://footer.diviultimate.com/

Try to remove the color in Theme Customizer > Header & Navigation > Fixed Navigation Settings > PRIMARY MENU LINK COLOR

    Thank you for your help.

    1. I understand what you mean regarding the footer. The "footers" on her pages are not actual footers per se, she build them as a page element/block on each page. A global actual footer is needed.

    2. I see the issue with the secondary menu. Is there not an option to select colors for the fixed menu dropdown? As you can see on the main menu, when you hover over the drop-downs the links are white, but when you scroll down and the fixed menu is active the links are blue. I don't see an option to adjust the fixed menu dropdown colors.

As mentioned in my previous post, you can create a global footer using the footer menu & footer credits.

Sadly, there are no options for fixed dropdown colors. But as mentioned previously, if you remove the color in Theme Customizer > Header & Navigation > Fixed Navigation Settings > PRIMARY MENU LINK COLOR, your dropdown link will be back to white color.

Hmm, I don't understand why there isn't an option to change the fixed navigation dropdown menu background colors, independently of the main navigation dropdown.

This is very limiting for a person who wants to customize their website. Perhaps the developers should looking into this if they want to attract more customers.

You can suggest this to the ET support team: https://www.elegantthemes.com/members-area/help/

Alternatively, you can change the color using CSS.

To change the fixed navigation dropdown background color, try this CSS:
    Code:
Log In or Sign Up to view this code.
To change the fixed navigation dropdown link color, try this CSS:
    Code:
Log In or Sign Up to view this code.
You just need to put those CSS in Divi > Theme Options > Custom CSS
