Possible plugin conflict - google site speed time out error

    HI there,

    I have been having issues with google site speed tester for my site. I have tried many solutions but the thing that solved it was disabling your plugin.

    There seemed to be a massive "wait" period for the plugin and something in the javascript perhaps isn't working.

    I need the plugin as it is part of the design and it didn't cause issues when hosted on another server. Is there any plugin conflicts you know of or server settings that could cause this issue?

    I have disabled all the caching plugins, turned minification off etc. But basically nothing fixes it except disabling your plugin

    Error from google site speed test that is solved when removing the plugin:

    Lighthouse returned error: FAILED_DOCUMENT_REQUEST. Lighthouse was unable to reliably load the page you requested. Make sure you are testing the correct URL and that the server is properly responding to all requests. (Details: net::ERR_TIMED_OUT)Dismiss

    Do you have any suggestions for me? Has anyone else encountered this issue?

    None reported such issue before. Tested several other sites on Divi Ultimate Header Plugin from different members & all loaded fine in the google PageSpeed Insights.

    Also it seems to be particularly on google PageSpeed Insight only. Other tools like Pingdom & GTmetrix loaded your site just fine. Also your live site works fine as well. So, it shouldn't be that much of an issue.

    I'm not sure how the google PageSpeed Insight works & how it resulted in such error. So, I couldn't advice you further on this.

    But sometimes, your site seems to be loaded fine on the google PageSpeed Insight as well. See screenshot below.
    **You might want to refer your host & see if they have any idea on that.

    Hi there - Thank you - yes it will very occasionally work for the mobile test but not for the desktop where it returns the same error. I am concerned it may effect the SEO. Do you know if your plugin requires any specific server/php settings? As I have it working on another host without issue.

    Sometimes, it loaded fine for desktop as well. See below:

    You may try to use Google Webmaster to inspect your URL & see if it's being indexed by Google. See screenshot below:

    As long as you're on PHP version 7+, then you should be good to go. You can also try to comply with the Divi requirements shown in WP Admin > Divi > Support Center > System Status
