Solved new header requires css to hide main header?

Hi, I am starting to use your header plugin , after adding a new header in the divi lib and adding it on page I get the main header plus the new one just below.

from what I see in you your import json examples all your headers hidde the main one using css.

am I missing something or do I really have to replace the actual header using css ?? my logic tells me that you need to place new header on the top-header hook not just append it and have css to get rid of the main one.

yes thats what I did, but still getting the main hader duplicated.. the default wp header

 

what is interesting is that the header works and apears only ones. but the minute I change screen resolution to tablet or phone it duplicates the header (original and ads the new header)

 

seems like my extra theme does not have the header styles you have in the screen shot ( I have latest version ) ... but seems like the css on the theme layer worked just fine and does not relay back to default header.

changed to divi instead of extra to test and seems like it works better in terms of what I design in the builder it represents in the site.. with extra there was a difference, not sure why.
