Divi Builder Mobile responsive dosen`t work

Dear Community, I'm relatively new to Divi and just built my first page (using Divi-Child-Theme; www.thera-torso.ch). For the desktop version, most of the things work just fine. However, when it comes to the version for mobile phones, I have some real issues:

    • In the Divi-builder mobile, I can see everything centered. However, if I save the changes and then open the exact same page with my actual phone (Samsung Galaxy S9, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, others), things are not centered and I can even "scroll" to the right, where the background then is completely white (see screenshots attached)
    • Changes made in the builder (and shown in the preview of the mobile builder) do not have any impact to the "real" mobile version
    • I already tried different solutions, none of them with success: 1. I de-installed all non-necessary plugins, 2. I experimented with different CSS codes, none of them changed anything, 3. I deactivated the options "reduce and combine Java Script data" (hope this is correct in the English version, I'm using the German one), "reduce and combine CSS data" and "creation of static CSS data"
    Any input is highly appreciated.

    Thank you already in advance.

It's because of the settings in your section, row & modules. You are using transform, weird padding, weird width, etc, which is causing it to behave that way in mobile.

You might want to go to each section / row / module settings & change the settings in mobile to be the default value.

Hi, thank you very much for your answer.

What are the default values I have to enter? Or is there an option to set it to default values? And does this in consequence mean that I have to stick to default settings for desktop, tablet and mobile version (which would mean that I have to build everything from scratch again) or are these versions independent from each other?

    Thanks and regards

Default value is different for different settings.

I recorded a short video to show what I meant: https://recordit.co/FuBXiOP3BO

You will need to change the tablet value back to the default ones as per the video.

I see that you used a lot of custom width, padding, negative margin & transform, which might be hard for you to set everything back to default in mobile. I would recommend you to just rebuild it without relying much on negative margin, custom width & transform tools.

For my personal advice, for these tools (negative margin, custom width & transform tools), it should be used to create subtle effect only & not to position your elements.
