Solved Anchor link not working in menu

    After updating to WP 5.6 and installing Ultimate Header plugin 3.0.2, anchor links in the header menu no longer work.

    Try to update Divi to the latest version as well. And clear your cache.

    I checked your site & the anchor link seems to work fine:

    It scrolled down to the empty section with ID Sponsors. If you don't want it to land there, then you will need to delete the empty section. And put the ID Sponsors to other Section settings > Advanced > CSS ID that you need it to land at.

    Yes, that empty section is where the page should land (as the section is directly above the logos). However, the Sponsors link in the header menu is still not working on my end, even after clearing cache on my router and modem (in addition to clearing cache on the website itself, along with clearing static css, and clearing Cloudflare cache). I am testing on the latest versions of Mac Chrome and Safari, plus iOS Chrome and Safari. When I tap the "Sponsors" link, the page does not move.

    I did further testing, and there is a conflict between SG Optimizer and Ultimate Header on these browsers:

    Mac
    Chrome (latest)

    iOS
    Chrome (latest)

    When SG Optimizer is deactivated, the anchor link in the header works. But, when SG Optimizer is on, the anchor link does not work on Chrome.

    It is good that you have tested the anchor links on Windows, but from what I am seeing there is indeed a problem on Mac and iOS Chrome.

    My system:

    iMac 2019
    OS X Catalina 10.15.7 (latest)

    iPhone SE
    iOS 14.3 (latest)

    I tested on iPhone 11 Chrome and Safari & your site anchor link works fine as well. Not sure why it didn't on your side.

    Also since you mentioned that it works fine without SG Optimizer, then you should refer SG about this issue.

    As for our side, we already fixed the jquery for anchor link issue, similar with Divi latest update. So there shouldn't be any issue on our side.

    I'm having the same/similar issue.

    Anchor links on a post aren't working and jump to the top instead of to the row/section where the ID is placed.

    This problem resolves itself when I disable DU Header.
