Black module settings partially or sometimes completely covers text.

If the text is small enough the black module popup covers the text completely so you have to open up the Text Settings" pop up to edit text. This is pretty inconvenient as the whole point of me using Divi is to be able to edit text on the page.

Is there a way to make the black popup sit directly above the section you want to edit instead of partially blocking the content or completely covering it if it is just one word?

I've tried Hover Mode, Click Mode and Grid Mode, but none solve this issue.
