I am experiencing an odd issue.
One of my jpeg files is still being served, on mobile, after being deleted in the Divi builder.
I have deleted the image, verified that I have chosen the mobile icon and the image file is still being parsed or processed by browsers.
    All, mobile and tablet.
The purpose of deleting the image from mobile was to take the extra work off of the mobile browsers.
Below are a couple of screenshots of a Web Page Test run 2/12/2022 .
This is the the file in question.

    Request 9:

I have verified that I have deleted the image from mobile, using the Divi builder.
As you can see from the screenshots below, the image file is still being dealt with, by the browser.
Is there a way to delete a module from mobile only and leave the desktop in tact?
I hope that I am not coming across as complaining.
I understand that you are not being paid by Divi.

I am reaching out in the hopes that you may have a tip or direction that I can take.
Willing to do the work, I just have no desire to poke around, in the dark, so to speak.

    Apologies for the bold font.
Have no idea why this is occurring.
    It is not intentional.

    Thank you for helping us.

For this type of issue, it's best for you to refer official Divi support about it: https://www.elegantthemes.com/members-area/help/

We did test it on our demo site & it did load the image as well. This feature is part of Divi theme & we have no control of how it loads. jQuery solution will not work for this case as well. Thus, your best bet is to refer official Divi support & see what they say.
