Solved Changes to CSS and Functions.php

    Hello there!

If I would use the Divi Ultimate Child Theme, how would I go about with changing the CSS-files and/or the functions.php? Obviously, if I change these files, the changes would be overwritten when Divi Ultimate is updated.

Or am I missing something obvious here? ;-)

    Thanks,
    Rick

Our child theme has its own dedicated plugin. We tried to store all our CSS & functions in the dedicated plugin. Mostly, we will only update the plugin, without touching the child theme. So even if you made any custom changes in the child theme, it won't be overwritten by our new updates, as most of our changes will be updated through the dedicated plugin.

**Previously, we encounter this "overwritten" issue, and so we came up with the "dedicated plugin" solution.
