Hey Folks, This may be a simple issue, or possibly I have a misunderstanding about how Divi Works. When I am in Page Builder, and I want to change the size of something for a mobile device this is what I do. I'll use the setting for the Heading Text H1 of a text module as an example. I open the Text module, Type in my heading and set it to H1 and save. I then click on Design, Heading Text, click the little phone Icon so I can change sizes per device type. Then set the size of the font for Desktop, Mobile and Tablet and save. The issue I have is, whichever is the last size I set, ends up as the size for the other 2 types. In other words, If I set Desktop size to 30 and save, and then set Phone to 20 and save, the Desktop ends up as 20 as well. Does anyone see what the heck am I missing? Do I have a fundamental misunderstanding on how this is supposed to work? Also, separate issue, (or maybe related) In my primary Divi menu on my WordPress dashboard, I don't have a menu item "Module Customizer". It's just not there.
What you did is right. Perhaps try to update Divi & Wordpress to the latest version & clear your cache & see if it works. If not, try to enable Safe Mode in WP Admin > Divi > Support Center > Safe Mode > Enabled & see if it works. I believe Module Customizer is no longer there in new update. It's replaced with Global Defaults: https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/theme-releases/the-global-defaults-editor
Thanks for the help, and the confirmation that what I'm doing is proper. And good to know about Module Customizer. I'll test out your 2 ideas and report back ASAP.
Hi Patrick Did you manage to fix your issue? I had a similar issue today and finally found a fix.... thought I'd share... Your method is correct, however, you need to work on one tab at a time... i.e. if you are under the phone tab, make the change and save it while you are still under the phone tab. Do not make a change under the phone tab then go to the desktop tab and save. That is when things go wonky. The same applies to the other tabs... if you are in the tablet tab, make the change and click save while still under the tablet tab. Hope this makes sense
Hi Anyone who has the same issue, I had the same issue in the fullwidth Slider title text and body text but now it is solved. Yes i did safe mode and in the Divi > Theme Options > Builder > Advanced > Static CSS File Generation > Disabled but did not help. I turn off Safe mode but leave Static CSS disabled. After that, what i did, i click on the three dots of the title text size and click on Rest Title Text size and did same with body text, after that when i put the new size in the cell phone/mobile and desktop it worked, and one value was not taking over other values. I hope this would help others.
