Combine anchor and parameter in link?

    Hi, I have created an anchor on a section on a page.
    These are on our English pages so there is always a ?lang=en parameter added to the url.
    When I create a link on another page to https://test.com/testpage/?lang=en#anchor Divi or Wordpress removes the anchor in the generated pages.
    This only happens when I link to an existing page, when I link to no existing page e.g.https://test.com/testpagggge/?lang=en#anchor the url is constructed correctly (and ends at a 404 of course).

    How to combine anchors and parameters?
