Creating a high-end look on newspaper or magazine layout

    Hello,

I was trying to find examples of people who have used the Divi Ultimate child theme with the newspaper or magazine layout. I was only able to find a couple, and they both kept the default settings in terms of font and design.

I just wanted to check to make sure that within the settings for this child theme it is easy to change the fonts throughout the theme, as well as that zoom-in feature on the photos. We would like to create a more traditional, "high-end" news publication look, with serif fonts and photos that don't move :)

We're going for something along the lines of an Economist or New Yorker aesthetic. The layout doesn't need to be exactly the same, but we want that kind of classy look and feel. How easy is that to create with this theme?

Also, do you have any examples of any sites published in this kind of style? It'd really help me in convincing my colleagues to purchase this child theme. I should note that I have a slight preference for the newspaper layout based on the demo, but it seems quite similar to magazine. Is there any important difference we should take into consideration?

    Thank you!

    Sally

Sorry to say that we don't have any examples for our members blog site.
You can just set the font in Theme Customizer & it will apply globally. As for removing the zoom in effect, you just need to go to the Blog module settings > Advanced > CSS Class & remove free-hover
We have premade Newspaper layout & Magazine layout to get you started. To add any other blog module design, check out our premade blog section here: https://diviultimate.com/blog-list/
**You can easily load those premade blog section in the layout as well.
Nope, we don't have any examples on that.

Magazine & Newspaper are just premade layouts to get you started. It's all based on your own preference.
