I am just taking over the management of my family business' website, and I have little to no experience, so I guess the first thing I'd like to ask is how I can become more familiar with Divi in general? I don't really even know the vernacular to properly ask the questions I have.

The particular problem I am currently having is that I am trying to add a new product group, but I cannot find the page I want to copy in the existing pages section of the divi builder. currently it is laid out as so: Shop by Collection>etc, etc, Charleston Gates, etc>Aiken-Rhett, Ashley Hall, etc> Products from that group. I need to add another group like ashley hall, then add the individual products inside of it; However, when I am in the builder and selecting a page to copy the layout of the pages only go to the "Charleston Gates" level, then into the products. How can I copy an "ashley hall" level page and how do I rename the url to go to the new group I am trying to upload?

Sorry for the clunky question, thanks in advance.

    Hi Will,

First, here's a post that will give you a bit of an overview of Divi:

    https://www.elegantthemes.com/documentation/divi/visual-builder/

At a guess, I'd imagine that the products in the Ashley Hall group have been assigned to a category called "Ashley Hall". If that's the case, the "Ashley Hall" level page may just be the automatically generated category archive "page". And in that case, there isn't really a page for you to copy. Instead you just need to create a new category and assign your products for the new group to this category.

You can assign a product to categories by opening it in the back-end (e.g. by clicking "Edit Product", or something similar, in the black admin bar at the top of the page). In the right side panel of this Edit Product screen you should a categories section. The first time you do this, use the option to create a new category (with the "Ashley Hall" level group name) and also set its parent category (e.g. "Charleston Gates" in your example above). Then on the other products, open for editing in the same way and assign them to this same category (which will now exist so doesn't need recreated).

Hopefully that's how your site is set up, but if you'd like to share a link to the site it should be possible to confirm this / check if any other setup has been used.

    Thanks!
