Demo layouts are not importing complete content

1. All our images are linked to 3rd party image hosting. There might be some issue with the 3rd party image hosting earlier. Now should be fine.

2. For the white background, you just need to change the section background color to black & done. That's the Divi import issue.

Just for your information:
We purposely linked all the images to 3rd party image hosting to lessen the burden on your server with unnecessary images. But if you wish to use the same images, I highly recommend you to download the images & upload to your own server, so that you will not face the same issue (missing images) in future.

 

Another thing is the band divider. You need change the Background Image URL to: /wp-content/plugins/Divi-Ultimate-Plugin/images/band-divider.svg

That's our mistake. Will fix it soon.

It's fine for you to use the images hosted at third party hosting. No extra effort needed to look the same as demo. But you will have the risk that if one day the third party hosting closed down / changes the image URL, then all the images will be broken. So, it's better to upload to your own server if you wish to re-use the same photo.

There are several reasons why we do that:
1. If we do import all the images to your server, it will take hours to just to finish the Divi Library Import. Currently, we've shorten the import duration to complete under a minute, by linking all images to 3rd party hosting. Many users appreciate this changes.
2. Many of the users do not re-use the same photos, so they prefer not to have the additional images to burden their server storage.

To download the images, kindly refer to the guide below.

1. Copy the image URL. See the screenshot below:



2. Open a new tab & paste the URL & press Enter. Then right click on the photo to save the image to your computer. Then you re-upload the images for the sections / modules.
