Designing a new header for Extra

    Hello again,

    It's been a while since I've been able to work on my sites and I so appreciate your explanations of the Extra concepts and help with the block quotes at https://divi.help/threads/how-to-customize-blockquotes-for-extra-theme.9648/ -- just read through everything again and so appreciate your explanations.

    I figured out basic CSS (again) and there's lots of good info on the web, but I'm stuck with my headers now.

    I'd like a header similar to my old 2015 site (so glad for archive.org) and managed to move the menu and title into the image last year (see https://highdesertpermaculture.org/)

    How do I add search, the tagline, and the date to the header image?

    Back then I used Headway utility blocks, I see that I have a global header layout and clicked around for a while, but am lost again.

    Greatly appreciate any pointers!

    I see that you already create a global header at Theme Builder & that's the right way.

    Now, to add the date & tag line:
    1. You just have to add a new row with 2 column.
    2. For the first column (date), add a new text module & click the below:

    And choose 'Current Date'.

    3. As for the second column (tag line), just add a text module & type your tag line in it.
    4. And lastly for the menu & search, you just need to add a new section with 2 columns & place menu module (1st column) & search module (2nd column).
