Differences between DU CT, DU BP, DU HP etc. and DP CT

    Hello Guys

    Great products! Thank you for your hard work.
    I am trying to understand the differences between divi ultimate child theme, the divi ultimate plugins, and divi powerful child theme. So far I saw one post where you mentioned that the divi ultimate header plugin is included in the divi ultimate c.t.. Does this mean that all of the divi ultimate plugins (header, footer, blog, archive) are included in the Divi Ultimate C. T.?
    This is a little confusing as I thought the divi powerful c.t. is the one that's more about modules than premade layouts.
    Could you please explain it a little? A comparative table of content/functions/modules would be ideal for this. I'm sure other customers have the same questions going on in their heads when considering a purchase and I think this lack of clarity probably already cost you thousands of dollars as people don't like to spend hours trying to research this...(Yes, I've spent more than an hour trying to find out and I didn't). They want to clearly see what they can get, choose something and say "Awesome! Take my money and stfu!" :)

    Sorry for the confusion.

    Basically, if you are using Divi Ultimate Child Theme / Divi Powerful Child Theme on your Divi sites, then you don't have to install those standalone plugins. This is because both child themes already have all the features built-in. Those standalone plugins are meant to be used on Divi sites that doesn't use our child theme.

    As for the main difference between Divi Ultimate Child Theme & Divi Powerful Child Theme:
    • Currently, Divi Ultimate & Divi Powerful have almost the same features. There's still few minor features yet to be added to Divi Ultimate: more sidebar styles, custom 404 page styles, global popup on click, convert last menu item into button & new mobile menu options.
    • Divi Ultimate has tons of premade layouts / sections. But Divi Powerful doesn't have any premade layouts / sections, except for those premade elements. Divi Powerful is meant to be used together with free ET premade layouts or any Divi layouts out there or built from scratch. Basically, Divi Powerful is sort of a 'bare bones' child theme with tons of features & premade elements to get you stated.

    Hi. Following up on this thread, is the Divi Powerful Child Theme a plugin or a child theme? Because I already have sites using child themes and I could use the functionality of the Powerful components without changing the text/color/sizing defaults I already created in mine. So, child theme or plugin?

    For Divi Powerful Child Theme, you will need to install both child theme & assistant plugin.

    But for Divi Ultimate Child Theme, the child theme is optional. You are only required to install the assistant plugin.

    Yikes! Maybe you should have reversed the names so Divi Powerful would just be the plugin, and Divi Ultimate Child Theme includes the child theme. No wonder some buyers are confused. Too late now! Thanks for clearing that up.
