Divi Image Issue

Hello all,

I'm having some issues with media files and the front end editor. I took over a site that has a messy media library with lots of the same images uploaded in various aspect ratios. I'm trying to delete the unused files and clean things up a bit without using a plugin because I've had bad experiences with them before. The method I was going to try using was to go through each page and try to find each image that is being used and then add a description to each used image in the media library, then I was going to go through the media library and look for duplicates without a description - that way I would know they weren't the file being used.

I'm wondering if there is any way to get Divi to highlight the media file that is currently selected when you go to edit it on the front end editor. For example, say you're using a full-width header and you go to change the background image, so you click the gear icon resulting in the media library opening. Is there any way to get the media library to highlight the file that is currently being used when it opens?
