Hello, i am using mailoptin module in the footer. I am using just the email field ( no name ). In the edit mode everything looks good but when i view the page the the email field and button is not showing. Kindly help. I am just building page template so i have not added any functionality like attaching business mail etc.

It will not show up if it didn't set up correctly.

But one exception is that you use the premade layout with email optin. By default, they already set something to the email optin so that it will show up even though you didn't set them up. In short, you will need to find any premade ET layouts that comes with email optin & import it to your site.

One last thing. Can we place a specific coloum at the bottom of the page, just above the footer in mobile view? And if yes, kindly tell me how.
    Details of layout:
There are around 12 rows. The first one has 2 columns and other have 3. I want the second column of the first row to show up at the bottom of the page in mobile view. As it is acting as a sidebar but i am not using the sidebar module.

Easiest way is to create it as a new section at the bottom of the page. Then set it to show only in mobile at: Section Settings > Advanced > Visibility
