Divi Theme Builder - Post Layout Problem

I am trying to create a template for posts that has the featured image on the left (40% column), some content on the right (60% column)
I can do this in the theme builder. The problem I am having is that I want to add a gallery that is full width below this. If I do, it adds it to the template, so all posts show the same gallery (not what I want). If I add a gallery to the post content, then the gallery is only 60% width...

Is it possible to create a template in the theme builder that handles the featured image and post content placement, and be able to add a unique gallery for each post that is the full width of the row?

It seems I should be able to do this, but it is driving me nuts trying to figure out. I can just create each post and not use the theme builder.

Here is an example of what I am trying to create - see post-layout.png
The result I am getting (and don't want) see post-layout2.JPG

    Thanks for any help!
