Divi theme Customizer in wp-admin won't load

I am trying to load this URL:

https://alshawaproject.org/staging-2024.09.06/wp-admin/customize.php?et_customizer_option_set=theme

I want to update my colors in my theme so that it matches my client's palette, but the page just spins and tries to time out.

I did turn off "Static CSS File Generation", but that didn't help. That was just a shot in the dark.
