Divi theme using tags

    Hi,

    I am using Tags in my posts and diplay them on my Page(s) sidebar including homepage. At the same time i am deindexing them meaning that i have removed Tag pages from my sitemap.xml

    My requirement is just to display these TAGs for Users on Sidebar for their ease to find similar topics. However, Google shouldn't index them and be not confused with the duplicated content.

    Question 1: Would this have any negative impact on SEO?

    Question 2: If I am putting TAGs in my homepage sidebar and google is crawling and indexing my Homepage, wouldn't Google also go after these TAGs since they are being used on homepage?


    Any help would highly Appreciated
