DU header erasing slider block on website where default divi header used to overlay

    Hello,

On the original design of the site I have a menu with a transparent background that overlays on top of a slider module. When I try to replace with one of the DU header styles (#10 specifically, I think), it just overrides the whole slider instead of just replacing the menu area. How do I make it not do that? I literally am just using this plugin so I can get the quantity count to display on the cart icon, otherwise I just want everything to look the same as it does now on madeinparkcity.com.

P.S. I deactivated the DU header for now since it was ruining the look of the site and I didn't want that, so just mentioning that in case you'd be looking for it!

Not quite sure what you meant by the slider being overridden.

Make sure you selected our header style in Theme Custommizer > Divi Ultimate Header Plugin > Header & Navigation Styling > Choose your custom navigation style

By default, our header should be placed on top of your content (slider).

But if you wish to make it a transparent header, then try the below CSS in Divi > Theme Options > Custom CSS:
    Code:
Log In or Sign Up to view this code.
You will need to set your logo section background color to be transparent as well.

Thank you for that code. Sorry if I was unclear. I did select the header style from Theme Customizer > Divi Ultimate Header Plugin > Header & Navigation Styling > Choose your custom navigation style, but when I do it essentially replaces the current header and the slider module underneath it instead of just leaving the slider module underneath and have the DU header overlay it. Am I going to have to rebuild each page somehow just to get that to work?

It should only be replacing your current header, but not the slider, as the slider is in your body content area. Is that not the case?

Sorry for my delay here. Attaching a screenshot of the difference of the site without Divi UH and then with it active. Seems like it's replacing the section with the Divi UH row or something?

I believe it's just the background image missing + white text.

That's due to the static CSS file cache.

You may try to published it & clear your Divi Static File Cache & see if it works: WP Admin > Divi > Theme Options > Builder > Advanced > Static CSS File Generation > Clear
