Solved Each nav item with different background

I am trying to have each nav item with a hover color, and then when you click on the page, the background color stays.

In the attached, when I rollover About the background changes to green. When I click on the About page, I want the background to stay green. Right now I can get the hover/rollover color for each nav item to change colors, but I cannot get the background to "stick" once I click on a page.

So, each nav item will have its own color hover color and then a background color when you are on the page. Is this possible?

 

Hi, I tried that and it made the background gray even when that page wasn't active.

So when you roll over Corporate, the background goes purple, and then when you click on the Corporate page, the background stays purple.
