I'm looking to create a text-based navigation area within a text module for mobile version site visitors.

    CAMERAS | LENSES | ACCESSORIES | LIGHTING

I'd like to use " " or " " to add more than just a single space between the text and the pipe character next to it.

However, when I save the changes and/or switch over to the visual editor, these revert to single blank spaces with no code representation. If they do stay, it seems to be temporary and eventually revert to the single space.

For now, I've resorted to adding three periods in the background color to they don't appear.

Am I stuck with this method or is there a way in Divi to keep the " " and " " from replacing them with single standard spaces?

    Much appreciated.

    What about:

If not, you may create a span with margin. For example:
    Code:
Log In or Sign Up to view this code.

I tried using     before learning that   was a thing, but neither one stuck. They eventually revert back to a single space.

I appreciate the code you're suggesting, but for now, using background colored "dot dot dot" ... between the pipe and text seems to do a perfectly respectable job. Is it elegant? No. Does it work. Yes.

    Thank you!

But visitors will see the dots if they were to highlight the text. Using span with margin will not have that issue. It all depends on your preference. :)

You make a valid point. However, this is only on a mobile version and less likely for people to click and drag across text. But I do appreciate your point. I will keep that option in my pocket.

    Thank you!
