Footer not showing

Hello,
im new on Divi and became an already used Page to manage. I normally use Joomla or use direct html, so divi is complete new without any information from my predecessor
Sadly the Footer seems not to work as intended.
The Pages have the "Default-Template" and under Divi-Footer a Footer is configured.
But all Pages seems to use another one.
It looks like the footer ist an own Bock within the Page, but if i change something this Blocks are linked.
But its not the Footer.
Since this is not intuitive i want to use the real Footer option, but I dont see how.
The Footer has 3 "Themes" Default, All Blogs and all pages. I tried to activate all but none worked.
What i also find a bit confusing is, that in the Divi it is called "Theme" but on the Page it is called "Template" Maybe i'm missing another "template" or "Theme" what overrides the Footer?

i looked here and online, but most are telling, that the blank-template is selected, but it isnt and i tell the divi theme builder that all pages should use the global footer.
