Solved hide featured image on specific single post blog posts

    I do want to show the featured image in the blog overview pages, so the featured image must be on the single post page of a an article. But on some posts I don't want the image visible at the top of the page. I want to hide it. How can I do that? Also hiding on a specific category would suffice.

    There used to be a 'hide featured image' plug-in that gave the option to show or hide the featured image through a radio button option on the post page, but this plug-in does not work anymore.

    If someone has the solution. Thank you!
