Solved Importing XML then everything disappears!

Hi,

Migrated to another server. Everything is working well until I import the XML

On completion it says it needs to update the wordpress database but then everything disappears - every single plug disabled, every post and page gone and the default theme is enabled.

Tried multiple times and its the same every time. Help.

 

As it only happens when im importing the child theme xml - I was hoping you'd have some kind of clue what it could possibly be.

 

I'm following these install instructions https://divi.help/threads/new-installation-guide-for-v3-0-above.328/

everything is great with the site until i import Divi-Ultimate-Library.xml

Then wordpress says it needs to update the database. I then have to relogin and all plugins are disabled and all posts and pages disappear.

I have to restore the database and start again - it happens every single time. reproduced 100% every time.

I can promise its nothing to do with my server - I run over 40 sites and all run sweet. Thsi is my first venture into Divi.

as soon as i click on Divi Library to check everything I get this screen

asks me to log back in then

then reverts to the original default theme I had before installing divi and disables EVERY plugin, removes every post and page and replaces them with default ones from the yootheme theme

That works fine - we've spoken on previous posts I set it up on a blank site to test everything out before I moved to our main site

I can't figure this out for the life of me - every single time it wipes the posts/pages and disables all plugins and then reverts to the default theme. Very bizarre.

I'll set it up on some space where you can take a look.

 

I tried to import them manually from a backup but they were all corrupted. Anyway...

I found the solution - what a crazy pain in the as that was!

1. The option db_upgraded isn’t getting set by the upgrade process. Try this: go to /wp-admin/options.php. Fill the field db_upgraded with a 0 (zero). Hit Save Changes.

Now just need to finish the 2 x video in posts and all my current queries are answered
