iPad (Portrait) displaying same as Phone??

Hi - I am a bit stumped here with a site that used to display fine on my iPad Pro (2048x2732) in portrait mode - essentially it uses the "desktop" break point as expected. Now after editing it a bit I checked on iPad and find that the iPad is displaying the Phone "version" or rather the 768 breakpoint to be more accurate. It looks hideously large and zoomed in. In landscape it correctly shows the "desktop" version as I expected.

I have now checked 4 other sites I built with Divi and they all display (correctly) the same as desktop in portrait mode. So now I am really confused as there is nothing different with them on the backend.

As the ipad res is far beyond the desktop breakpoint I dont really understand what is happening here. In the visual builder it does the same thing for the "tablet" icon - but that is supposedly around 768 pixels wide, the ipad is 2000+

All sites using latest Divi (4.3.4)

Yeah, thanks, I spent almost half a day on the chat with them but no luck whatsoever. Frustrating thing is one site I did with divi behaves exactly as I expect it would (displays dektop view on my ipad pro like every other website on the planet practically) but the other displays this horifically enlarged one column phone view. Cannot understand why and they cannot explain to me either except to say that the horifically enlarged forced one column view is the proper behaviour! Just goes against every other website I look at, not to mention the other divi site.

Oh well. I guess this may not be the right tool for me. Maybe its possible to re define the breakpoints so that "tablet" changes to "desktop" at a more fitting point. But I will start another thread for that.
