I've seen another thread about this problem, but I can't seem to reply to it--so I'm starting a new one.

It's the exact same problem that this person had:

So I've gone in to edit a page, and it's defaulted to a view that is front end, which I don't like, so I click to go back to the standard view and a box pops up to say changes will be lost when you go back to standard, well I've not made any so I click okay... and the whole page has gone. so it must have meant back to the WP setting?
It's a new page that I loved took me ages to create, and I'm devastated.
Please can someone tell me there is a way to restore it?
I haven't made a manual back up in ages, going through some rebranding so actually hasn't been necessary until the last couple of weeks, and I forgot to even think about backing up.
    Thank you!

The original post was made in 2019, so I'm hoping there may have been some improvements since then...

    Hey Nicole,

    Sorry to hear this!

First take a backup now if you can.

Now, re-enable the Divi Builder on the page, e.g. by clicking the "Use the Divi Builder" button.

If you don't see your page, try restoring it from a previous revision (i.e. the last time you saved the page before the incident). This post explains how to restore from previous revisions:

Hopefully you can find a recent version of the page in there.

Another option is to check with your webhost to see if they made any backups at the right time.

    Hope that helps!
