Main Menu item without a Link / only Subpages with Links

    Hello folks,
I have created a homepage with DIVI and a theme from elegantteams (theme name: jewellery).

The main menu items are created automatically as soon as I create a new page. But now I would like to have a main menu item WITHOUT a link, which only has submenu items.

In "normal Wordpress" I googled that this is possible via Design -> Menus by editing the existing menu and then setting a link with #.
But how can I set these links in a DIVI theme?
If I click on Menu, I can see the existing menu items, but I can't edit them.

How can I realise that I create a main menu item in the DIVI without a link, which only has submenu items that call up links to other pages?

    Many thanks for your help!

    best regards,

The screenshot is the right place for you to create your custom menu. Basically, you just need to type your menu name & tick Primary Menu & save. Then you can add your own custom menu item.

thanks that seems to work, but then I have to rebuild my whole menu and it is no longer managed by the DIVI theme..... all main menu items and also the submenu structure I have to create new and the formatting (link colors, etc.) is then also different.

Yup. You will need to set up all your custom menu items. As for the color, it should be the same as previous. If not, you may share your URL & which menu item you're having issue changing the color.
