I have a row with two side by side text modules seen below. I would like them to meet at the middle but I can't figure how to make them full width. I have padding & margin all set to 0 for row and modules.

There seems to be some space between the two words in the picture. I'm not sure where this space is coming from.

I put a background color behind the text and I'm not sure why this doesn't extend the fullwidth since there's no padding or margin.

I did find if I enabled custom gutter widths and set it to 1, then the modules became fullwidth. But I don't understand why this space would be there with custom gutter widths off

    I'm on a local development, so I can't share a url

Yup. The gutter width is the spacing between columns. If you set the gutter width to be 1, then there will no spacing between the columns.
