Module/row/section settings bar no longer popping up

Very randomly the module/row/section settings bars have completely stopped popping up when I'm using the visual editor.

I've been using divi for about a week, and previously whenever I hovered over a module, row or section, the corresponding settings bars would automatically pop up. That has now just randomly stopped today, for no clear reason.

Now I am having to click on a module/row/section in order to get the settings bar to come up. If I do a single left click the module/row/section settings bar comes up, but I preferred it when they automatically appeared from hovering.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this please?

I've tried updating to both the latest version of Wordpress, and latest version of Divi, but I'm still getting this problem.
