Multiple Woocommerce Images Module Not Working / Updating as Expected

Hello everyone,

I encountered a strange behavior with Woocommerce featured images (Woo Images module) and DIVI builder (using the DIVI theme with built in builder)

It seems that if I have multiple Woo Images module, and if I have product variations which will show image when chosen, only one Woo Images module will have the variations image updated in the main/featured image.

You’ll see that I have 2 Woo Images module where if I choose a product variation, both module will have the selected variation image displayed on the gallery below, but only one of them displays the selected variation image as the main image.

I need multiple Woo Images module for the All Products page to make an optimized layout for Desktop and Mobile, so only one module will be displayed and another one will be hidden depending on device resolution.

I have tried disabling any other plugins and it doesn’t seems to have any conflict. My DIVI builder is built in within the DIVI wordpress theme so I can’t just disable it from plugin setting, but I tried changing theme (to Twenty Twenty One, etc) that use the default builder, and interestingly it only shows one Woo Images module, see here:


Is this an expected behavior with Woocommerce image? Any workaround to have multiple Woo Images module working with variations image?
