    I see you changed it back to the Wordpress standard gallery.

    By default, Divi gallery module should've opened the images in a lightbox. If it didn't do that, it might be a jQuery error on your page. You may troubleshoot it by Right Click on your site > Inspect > Console tab to look for any jQuery error.

    Or you may do the below to check for the error:
    1. Disable all the performance option at WP Admin > Divi > Theme Options > General > Performance & see if it works.
    2. If no.1 didn't work, then enable Safe Mode to see if it fixes the issue: WP Admin > Divi > Support Center > Safe Mode > Enabled
    **If it works, then it might be a plugin conflict. You will need to enable/disable plugins one by one to find the culprit.
