Solved Organization of search results

    When people search on our website, the results are returned in a random fashion, sometimes with odd snippets or events from years ago appearing long before more recent, meatier and more relevant results.

    We would like to have search results appear in descending chronological order, i.e., the most recent post would show first and would be followed on its right by the second and third most recent.

    Could we exclude any posts that are tagged "Events" and appeared before 2019?

    Search example: https://mklm.org/?s=Peg+Vamosy

    It's supposed to sort by Most Recent to the Oldest.

    Perhaps there's some other plugins or code that alter the search result.

    You may try to enable Safe Mode in WP Admin > Divi > Support Center > Safe Mode > Enabled & see how it shows up.
