Hello. I have a full width hero slideshow and I’m trying to overlay a module (countdown) over the bottom part of the hero slideshow. I’ve tried giving the countdown module a negative top margin, and it appears to work in the editor, but when the site loads live, the module is back under the hero section.

Can you not overlay a standard module on top of a full width section? Anything tips would be wonderful. Thanks!

    Hey Christopher,

First, if you haven't already, make sure you clear any caches you're using on your site - it might just be that you're seeing an old version of the page on the live site.

But if it's not that, I'd have thought the negative margin should work on the live site, but perhaps something is overriding it or otherwise blocking it.

Another option, though, is to use the Divi Position Options:

    https://www.elegantthemes.com/documentation/divi/position-options/

If you set "Countdown Timer Settings > Advanced > Position > Position" to "Relative" and set the vertical offset to a negative value, I think that should similarly move it up to overlap the header.

If that doesn't help, are you able to share a link so that we can take a look at the live view of the page?
