Solved Overlay & Border Bottom

    1) What code can be used in the CSS Class that will give the header a slight overlay?

    2) Also, how can I eliminate the border bottom of the header where the primary menu is?

    Try the below CSS in Divi > Theme Options > Custom CSS:

    Are you saying that you wish for the header to overlap with the section below it? If that's the case, try to set transparent color for Theme Customizer > Header & Navigation > Primary Menu Bar > Background Color

    For the overlay situation, I'm not looking for an overlap. I just want to shade the header area slightly where we see the water and trees. Just to darken it a bit. Seems kind of bright to me.

    Then add the below at Section Settings > Advanced > Custom CSS > Before:
