Portfolio video thumbnails

    Hi,

    I'm new to the forum, but I haven't been able to find a query similar to this, apologies if I have missed it!

    I'm trying to create video thumbnails for a portfolio, I tried using some 'feature video' plugins, but none of them seem to work.

    Is what I am describing possible? at the minute I am using gifs as featured images, but the filesize is pretty large. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
