    Hi,

    I have created a blog page (to show latest news & blog) however, when I assign the page as my post page it over writes my content.

    Can anyone helo?

    That is happening because WordPress uses a different template for displaying content when you set your page to be your posts page.
    You can just use blog module on a page without assigning it to be posts page, that way you should retain your content.
