Hello, more importantly i need to know the following.

    1. How bloaty is this theme it seems like it can do a lot but what if i dont require 200 pre made layouts, can features be removed or disabled so the css and code does not always load in the background. This would be ultimately important when it comes to speed optimisation

    2. What is further customisation is required, for example i dont need some special features such as sections, is the custom css contains in style.css or is it easy to find and disable any extra code not needed if necessary?

    3. What about updates, does this theme have auto update functionality within dashboard?

    4. What about any known compatibility issues with 3rd party plugins?

Thanks very much, hope you understand that these preliminary questions are very important before the purchase is made.

    Mitch

Our main CSS file is 87kb. This main CSS will always load in the background.

And each of our homepage concepts has it's own CSS file ranging 1 - 5kb. For these concept specific CSS, we allow you to choose your desired concept, so that only the specific concept CSS will be loaded. Though, you will still get an option to load all concept CSS.

As for our custom blog post, the CSS (18kb) will only be loaded if you choose to use our custom blog post functionality.

By the way, it's 200+ premade Divi Library items (modules, sections & layouts), not just layouts.

All of the custom css for the premade designs are in the Main CSS file (87kb). Many of the design share the same CSS classes, so it's best not to touch the Main CSS file. Also there's no way for you to disable any extra CSS code not needed in the Main CSS file.

Nope. There is no auto update functionality within dashboard.

So far, we haven't had any reports regarding 3rd party plugins compatibility issues from our members.
Though, I would say that anything that works with Divi, should work well with our child theme as well.

Here are a few follow on questions.

    1. In the screenshot it shows you can select from multiple demos/themes if we create client sites, is there any easy way to disable certain functionality eg changing layout themes in customiser? I would be a very bad thing to create an entire site and then have the client go and change the theme and break all the work that was done?

    2. If there is no auto update, how do you notify your users of updates to the theme?

    Thanks.

    1. You can’t disable any of the functionalities. For the theme choosing in Theme Customizer, it’s only meant to load the specific concept CSS for your site (1kb to 5kb file) & nothing else. Mostly the css file is used to style the section heading for the specific concept. So, you don’t have to worry that changing the specific theme / concept will break all your custom work on the site. And you can easily switch between themes / concepts in Theme Customizer & it will only switch to load the necessary CSS and nothing else.

    2. You will receive email notification for new releases. And there will be guidance on the update process.
