Solved Problem with Divi Theme Builder and categories.

My website has one main menu and five sub menus. The pages for the different menu have a different categoris - there are six categories - say A, B, C, D, E, F. (note, at the moment only some of them are working)

For the pages on each of the 6 menus I am displaying posts by category. So on page category 'A', I'm only displaying posts for category 'A'. This works correctly for all six categories.

In the Divi Theme Builder I have two themes for each category, one for Specific Pages and Child Pages in a category and the other is Pages in specific categories.

When I click on a Post it displays that post on a new page. I want it to display on the correct page with the correct menu, background etc. In some cases this works, in others it doesn't.

I cannot see any difference in the pages, themes, or the Blog module between the ones that work and those that don't.

On the website as it is currently if you go into 'Our Churches', 'Inverkeithing' is not working correctly, 'North Queensferry Test' is working correctly and 'Rosyth' is not working correctly.

The website is Home - Forthview Church https://forthviewchurch.org.uk/

Can you offer any advice on to what the problem could be.

    Hey David,

One thing to check is the order of the templates. Divi will, I think, check the templates from right-to-left (i.e. it starts from the last template) and applies the first one whose assignment rules matches the current page. If your default template is later than the Inverkeithing / Rosyth templates but before North Queensferry, for example, it would probably override the first two locations and give the effect your seeing.

And, as I'm sure you already will have, double check that your pages are correctly assigned to their intended templates.

Other than that, I can't see anything specifically wrong from the front-end / screenshot.

Thanks for your suggestion it .
I think I have found the problem.
For some posts I had two categories - I wanted the same post to be displayed in two different places.
I think this was causing confusion.
I have therefore duplicated those posts, assigning them to only one category and modifying the Slug slightly.
It now appears to work correctly.
