Save contact form page in library

I've created a contact form in Divi with 2 sections (blue) and respective rows (green) beneath them. I want to add this form to all pages and posts, so I tried saving it in the library. I saved the entire Divi Builder layout (purple), but I can't find it in the library to insert on other pages and posts. What am I doing wrong?

    Hey Daniel,

How are you trying to add it to your pages / posts? If on those you are clicking to add a new section, and then selecting "Add from Library", that would probably be the reason you can't see them in the library.

The way you are currently saving the contact form is as an entire layout. This means it will only show up when you use the option to add a layout to the page (e.g. the "+" icon just to the left of the icon indicated in your screenshot). It also means that it will replace the existing page / post content, which may not be what you want.

If this is the issue, then you can instead save each section individually to the library (e.g. by right clicking on the blue section bar and selecting "Save to Library". You can then add the two sections individually to the post (they should show up when you select to add a section and then "Add from Library"). You could streamline this a bit if you are able to combine the two sections into one.

An alternative approach that you might like to consider is using the theme builder (Divi > Theme Builder). You could create a new template that you assign to All Posts and All Pages (or wherever you need it). Add a custom body layout to this template and then in that layout add both a Post Content module (which acts as a placeholder for the main page / post content and your contact form sections. This template will then automatically add the contact form to all your posts / pages. That way you don't need to manually add it to all your pages and have a single place to edit it if you need to make changes.

    Hope that helps!

I have now saved the created contact form as a Global Section. However, the contact form does not span the entire page. It is not within the blue frame of the section, but only green. I would like to have a contact form within the blue section and saved in the library so I can use it on all existing web pages.

The structure of a Divi layout is that you have sections (blue) which contain rows (green) with columns that contain modules (dark grey). It's not directly possible to move the contact form module into the section - it is always contained within the row.

You can, however, make the contact form fill the blue area by setting the width on the row to 100% (Row Settings > Design > Sizing) and remove the padding / margin to 0px on the section (Section Settings > Design > Spacing).

Alternatively, if you want to be able to add just the green area to a new page, without the full blue area, you can right click on the green row and save just it to the library. To use it on a new page, you click to insert a new row to the page and choose the "Add to Library" option.
