Seeking advice re: mobile submenu accessibility

    Hello!

I need to make some accessibility-related changes to the mobile menu markup, and I am looking for the best way to go about it.

When navigating the mobile menu using a keyboard, I need to get into submenu items. The (default?) "+" that opens the submenu is not keyboard accessible.

Has anyone encountered and solved this issue?

    Thanks!

I have no knowledge on accessibility, but I'll just chip in some advice.

    1. By default, Divi mobile menu is not collapsible. You have added some custom code to achieve that. Thus, you may change the structure of the + icon in the custom jQuery code.

    2. Upon some searching, if you set the + icon HTML tag to be button, but it should be accessible by the keyboard. Thus, you may tweak your custom code to change the icon HTML tag to button.
