Set a background for posts only, does not affect pages.

    I would like to have a background setting for posts, but it cannot effect pages.

    So if...
    I want the pages to have a white background.
    and I want posts to have a light grey background.

    Both setting need to be global, So, I do have to go into every post to change this setting.
    Looking for code that will do this...

    how would this be done?

    I see global settings and code for both. But I need to split the 2 up and have a background for pages and a different background for posts.

    Is this even possible?

    Try the below CSS in Divi > Theme Options > Custom CSS & see if it works:

    **This should change the background color for your posts.
