"Slip scroll" header logo effect

    I'm hoping someone can help me figure out how to implement this effect with a header logo on a Divi site. I have an SVG I want to switch from white to black, depending on which section you're scrolling over. I can't find anyone else showing how to do it in Divi, all my searches are just finding tutorials on how to change the logo on the initial scroll - I want it to be changing throughout the page depending on the background section class.

    I did find several good code examples, but I can't get anything to work correctly on a brand new Divi site. What's the best way to implement this effect?
