Solved Style Search Element in Header?

    I am trying to style the Search Header Element as with our theme it is showing up with white font on a white background and there is no way to change that within the theme. Anyone know where I should look for the css to change the style of this element? The photos show the search bar with "dogs" typed in one without being highlighted and one with to see the type is there.
