Solved Subject line in contact form email

I would like to know how to make the text entered into the subject line of my contact form appear in the subject line of the email that is sent to me rather than in the body of the email message.

I have created a simple contact form using the default Divi contact form, to which I added a subject line. When I receive an email from the contact form, the text entered in the subject line of the form appears in the body of the email instead of on the subject line of the email. I have set up a message pattern for emails sent to me that separates the subject line text from the message text, but the subject line text still appears in the body of the email.
