Solved Switching Accounts

    Hi my company hired third party to create our site.

    Because of this we do not have the current login. While the site runs fine as is there are certain things we would like to access which would require us to had a login.

    If we sign up for Elegant Theme will we be able to switch logins for divi on our site smoothly or would it be more complex?

    Thank you in advance for any help.

    Even if you sign up with Elegant Theme, you still won't get to access / switch the site login. You definitely need to contact the third party to get the login details.

    But if you have access to the cPanel database, then you can change the password there.

    Thanks for your answer although I just want to make sure we're on the same page.

    I can log into the actual wordpress site, and the divi plugin already has a user it's just not me. I'm asking if changing the user and API key in Divi will affect the site?

    If that's what you've already answered here my apologies just want to make sure I understand

    I see. You mean the one at Divi > Theme Options > Updates?

    Yes. You can just sign up at ET & insert your own account. It doesn't affect anything else. It just provides you to access the free ET layouts & updates only.

    If the old username doesn't work, then you will need to sign up for a new one.
