    Hi,

im very new to Divi, but i already have a major problem. When i have some text in the visiual builder, the controls dont stick on top, but scroll all the way up.
That means i can not define headlines und so.

I have attached a photo, so you can see what I'm talking about.

    Thanks in advance.

The controls won't stick to the top. If you want to specify the heading, you just need to highlight the words that you want to be set as heading & scroll back to top and select the heading control.

    Hi,

in this Video you can see that they do stick on top. Honestly, if they won't i cant use Divi. I write very long articles. If i have to scroll up and down for every modification like a heading, it won't work for me.

    thanks for your help, Unkas

That one is the backend builder. You can access it by clicking the “edit page / post” button at top bar.

Thank you very much for replying to me.
I went to the backend and clicked the Text Module. It opens an editor similar to the frontend and the one in the video above. But again, the controls scroll up.

    Am I'm not getting it?

    Thanks, Unkas

You're right. The backend doesn't work as well.

But we came up with a solution for you for the visual builder. Just add the below CSS to your custom CSS:

    Code:
Log In or Sign Up to view this code.
Adjust the 250px to your liking.

Let me know if it works for you.

    Thank you.

Now it works in the front end, but not in the back end. Do you have another trick for that up your sleeve?

Why wouldn't it work to begin with?

    Thanks, Unkas

ElegantThemes decided to design it that way I think.

I can only provide you solution for front end though. Simply adding custom CSS won't affect the back end.
