If I use the Ultimate Blog plugin for my blog posts that use the default editor, will I still be able to use the Divi Builder for some of my blog posts that I want to style differently? Or will the Ultimate Blog plugin set the layout for all posts?

Our blog plugin will set layout for all posts. You can either use default editor or Divi Builder for your blog post content.

If you wish to hide the plugin top blog header part, you just need to set the blog post Post Title option to be hidden. And if you wish to design your blog page with Divi Builder on a fullwidth mode, then set Page Layout to be fullwidth.

As for the post navigation, related posts & comment area, there's no options for you to remove it. Even if you're using Divi Builder for your post, you can't remove them. Though, you can hide them with some custom CSS if you want.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for your answer. If I understand you correctly I can use the Divi Builder when I want to if I change the settings described above.

Are the related posts that are shown below a post from the same category as the post you are reading? Or is it some other parameter that decides what related posts are shown?

In short, yes. You can design your blog post with Divi Builder as well.
Yes. It will automatically grab posts from the same category starting from the newest post.
